The Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model With Make a Match Type In Effort To Increase Both Activity and Accounting Learning Result of Students in Class X of Accounting 1 On Accounting Basic Similarity Competency Standard on SMK of Raksana Medan Year of 2009/2010. Economy Faculty. Majoring Economy Education. Study Program of Accounting Education, State University of Medan Year of 2009.
The problem of this research is about the low-level of learning activity and learning result of students. This research is aimed to increase the activity and learning result of accounting students by implementing cooperative learning model with make a match type on accounting basic similarity competency standard in Class X of Accounting 1 On SMK Raksana Medan Year of 2009/2010.
This research is performed in SMK of Raksana Medan, located on Gajah Mada Street Number 20. The kind of research which used is Classroom Action Research consist of two cycles and become the subject on this research is all students Class X of Accounting 1 for 43 people, the object of this research is the implementation of cooperative learning model with make a match type in effort to increase both activity and accounting learning result of students. The instruments applied is test of learning result in essay form made by teachers and researcher, and also observation form for recording the growth of student’s learning result as long as learning-teaching process is going on.
From the observation result above shows that learning activity of students suffering the expected growth, which is on Cycle I, the average of completed student’s activity reaches 37.21% and on Cycle II it reaches 100% or having increase for 62.79%. From the result of data analytic, it is obtained test data before the implementation with the average score for 62.21, while when having a test on Cycle II, the average score of students become 68.16 or having growth about 5.95 points. On Test Cycle II, the average scores of students become 81.16 or having growth about 13 points from cycle I.
It is can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of make a match type on accounting basic similarity competency standard in Class X of Accounting 1 on SMK Raksana Medan Year of 2009/2010 can be increase both activity and learning result of students. It is means that this learning model can be applied as an alternative way in accounting learning.
